Small Unmanned Aircraft Online Ground School

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide Office of Professional Education, in conjunction with Drone World Expo 2017, is offering a one-day seminar discussing the use of small unmanned aircraft systems to conduct inspections. Critical to the use of SUAS for conducting inspections are efficient flight operations and data collection, coupled with a functional understanding sUAS regulations. The course will not only discuss these areas, but also safety, pre- and post-flight planning, maintenance, and communications. These factors are essential to planning and conducting safe inspection operations and developing mission profiles for an organization. Organizations integrating sUAS operations for inspection operations should understand the intricacies of these factors as they prepare, integrate or evolve with an sUAS plan.
