This course covers the operation and use of Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS). It emphasizes operation of TCAS equipment and the flight procedures that are required for response to TCAS Traffic Advisory (TA) and Resolution Advisory (RA) warnings. Information relating to TCAS II version 7.1 is incorporated into the course. It is available in three versions; one version describes conventional (generic) equipment installations, while the other versions describe (respectively) typical Airbus and Boeing displays.
