The training covers basic cargo procedures as operation of freight forwarders and airline cargo units, type of aircrafts and loading, Air Waybill completion and basic rating, IATA geography, TACT, OAG, and other cargo manuals.

Course Objectives

After completing this course, you should be able to demonstrate a comprehensive and broad-based understanding of supply chain management in:

  • Air cargo terms and expressions
  • The use of space in aircraft holds
  • Aircraft routings and industry manuals such as TACT and OAG World Airways Guides
  • Basic rating principles and state and operator variation
  • IATA standards to accept cargo and complete documents and improve customer service
